I am a Laser
I would actually categorize myself as a laser. Coming to Chabot, I already had an idea of what I wanted to do when I came to Chabot. I was originally going to attend a 4 year university, but because of financial and personal reasons I pulled out last minute and went to Chabot.
Being a laser student I feel that at times I like it but at others I do not. Sometimes I feel pressured because I already know what I should be doing and I cannot be lazy because in order to achieve my goals I have to do well in school. I like knowing what I have to do though. Having a clear idea of what I need to do in order to transfer is always reassuring and comforting.
This post is kind of short because I do not really know what else to say. I have always gotten good grades because I worked hard, even in high school. I would not change categories because I am already where I need to be. I guess I could talk more about what I am doing. So my major is Electrical Engineering and I plan to transfer to a UC or maybe a private college. One of the reasons I am interested in this major is because I really enjoy math. I thought that it would be a good major to study then. Even before community college I knew about assist.org, so I knew what I had to take before seeing a counselor. They even told me I had most of it figured out for myself. I just have to keep working hard in order to achieve my goals.
